Our Wedding

Although Emily and Hudson both grew up in Louisville and shared many similar paths, it wasn’t until college that their worlds finally collided. In 2019, mutual friends introduced them by setting Hudson up as Emily’s date to her semi-formal—and from that night on, something just clicked. What started as a fun, casual evening quickly turned into a deep connection filled with laughter, curiosity, and the sense that this was the beginning of something meaningful. Over the past five years, Emily and Hudson have grown together through countless milestones. They’ve built a life in Lexington, Kentucky, full of love, shared dreams, and a very good dog named Scout. Together, they’ve supported each other through life’s changes, celebrated big wins and quiet moments, and learned the beauty of building something lasting—side by side. In the fall of 2024, Hudson proposed on Catalpa Road in Lexington, surrounded by a golden sea of gingko trees in full bloom—a picture-perfect moment that marked the start of their next chapter. Now, they can’t wait to say “I do” and celebrate this next adventure with the friends and family who’ve been part of their story from the very beginning.
